Specialising in premium, locally sourced steak, The Garden Grille offers an a la carte style dining experience with a focus on the popular char grill steaks and seafood, fresh produce and an emphasis on great wine.
Co-owners, Brian and Greg Fitzgibbons who are carrying on the 50 year family ownership, says the renovation will add to the existing quality and overall experience. "The Southside deserves great places to get together and enjoy terrific tasting, good value meals with family, friends or colleagues," said Brian.
"There was an opportunity to refresh the restaurant to complement the launch of the accommodation. The upgrade will also see a new bar, air-conditioning throughout, new landscaping and lighting to the gardens."
With the aim to source produce from only the best regions in Australia, Brian says the focus is on the quality of dishes prepared straight from the grill. "Our steaks are sourced exclusively in Australia from the best beef purveyors and our seafood arrives on our doorstep from some of the greatest regions in Australia, such as Cone Bay in WA."
Executive Chef Patrick Carlos said he is excited to be joining a team with 50 years hospitality experience and offering premium steak and seafood straight from the grill.
"We are quietly confident that with the premium food offering and alfresco setting, we will give people everything they want out of a local venue," Carlos said.
"Our evolving wine selection is chosen to complement the Modern Australian dishes featured on each of our seasonal menus," he said.
